It's in a lovely neighborhood that's perfect for exploring on foot.

The tranquility and peacefulness of the stay was mind-blowing. The room had two openable windows, providing a soothing atmosphere during rainy nights. The traditional Mexican colonial house was charming, with a spacious courtyard and a mid-20th-century vibe. The building was beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated, with a lovely garden, a cozy covered patio, and a convenient kitchen for guests to use. The room itself was spacious, well-lit, and had ample storage space, including a lockable drawer for valuables. The location was excellent, with easy access to the central square, Frida Khalo's museum, the market, and the park. The nearby coffee shop and dining options added to the convenience, and the property was perfect for solo travelers or couples, providing a welcoming and comfortable experience.

Casa Tamayo exceeded our expectations in every way. the owners and staff were exceptional, providing a calm and peaceful environment. the house itself was beautifully decorated, with well-appointed rooms and inviting public areas. the kitchen was marvelous, and we enjoyed having access to a coffee machine and the option to use the kitchen anytime. the location was perfect, within walking distance of markets, restaurants, and cafes. Casa Tamayo is a sanctuary in the heart of Coyoacán. Cons: All good! 👍.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tamayo in Coyoacan! the property is absolutely stunning, like staying in an art gallery. the rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden and the full kitchen was a great convenience. The location felt safe and secure, and we loved exploring the charming village-like atmosphere of Coyoacan. Cons: Hard to think of anything negative, 🤔 the only minor downside was the slightly outdated bathroom.
